Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

  1. 3

    Listen for a click when the solenoid valve operates. Verify that the ON state and the OFF state are commanded. Repeat the commands as necessary.

  2. 5

    This step tests for voltage to the AIR solenoid valve.

  3. 6

    This step verifies that the PCM is providing ground to the AIR solenoid valve.

  4. 7

    This step tests if a ground is constantly being applied to the AIR solenoid valve.
