Intake Manifold Tube Installation (Federal Emissions)

  1. Install the intake manifold tube gasket.
  2. Install the intake manifold tube.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts in sequence.

    Tighten:  Tighten the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the intake air heater with gasket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the intake heater to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  7. Install the turbocharger boost sensor to the intake manifold tube.
  8. Install the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
