Intake Manifold Tube Installation (California Emissions)

Install the intake manifold tube gasket.
Install the intake manifold tube.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts in sequence.
Tighten: Tighten the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the intake air heater with gasket.
Tighten: Tighten the intake heater to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the turbocharger boost sensor to the intake manifold tube.
Install the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the EGR cooler bracket.
Install the EGR and cooler.
Install the EGR cooler bracket bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the EGR cooler bracket bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the EGR bolts and nuts.
Tighten:
- Tighten the EGR bolts to 20N.m (15 lb ft).
- Tighten the EGR nuts to 19N.m (14 lb ft).
- Install the EGR cooling hose and clamps.
