Installation Procedure

If installing the heat shield (3), install the shield through the passenger side wheelwell.

Install the exhaust heat shield (1, 3) to the dash panel studs.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Lower the vehicle.
