Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the engine protection shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
  3. Remove the outer tie rod end. Refer to Tie Rod Replacement .

  5. Remove the inner tie rod end using theJ 34028  (2).
