Installation Procedure

- Install the ball joint to the lower control arm.
- Install the replacement bolts to the lower control arm.
- Install the nuts to the bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
- Remove the lower control arm from the bench vice.
- Install the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement (RWD) or Lower Control Arm Replacement (4WD) .
- Install the tire and wheel tire assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Verify the wheel alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment (w/Rear Wheel Steering) or Measuring Wheel Alignment (w/o Rear Wheel Steering) in Wheel Alignment.
