Vehicle Speed Sensor (Transmission): Installation

Coat a new O-ring seal with a thin film of transmission fluid. Replace the O-ring on the vehicle speed sensor assembly and install the vehicle speed sensor assembly. See Fig 2-Fig 4 . Tighten the vehicle speed sensor retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the harness connector to the sensor. See Fig 1. Lower the vehicle.
