Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Sierra and 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Install the bolts (1) and the push pins (2) that retain the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator brace.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

  4. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting .
  5. Install the front grill assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (GMC) or Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) in Exterior Trim.
