An intermittent DTC can also be the result of a defective reluctor wheel. Remove crankshaft sensor, and inspect reluctor wheel through crankshaft sensor mount hole. Inspect porosity and condition of reluctor wheel.

Verify that the ICM ground circuit has less than 0.5 ohms resistance.
