The normal scan tool voltage varies between 150-850 millivolts (0.15-0.85 volt) when in a closed loop operation.

An intermittent could be the result of a faulty electrical connection, rubbed-through wire insulation or a broken wire inside the insulation.

Inspect for a faulty electrical connection or a damaged harness. Inspect the harness electrical connectors for improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed electrical connectors, damaged terminals, faulty terminal-to-wire connection or damaged harness.
