Oil Pump, Pump Screen and Deflector Removal

  1. Remove the bolt that attaches the oil pump to the crankshaft rear bearing cap.
  2. Remove the oil pump, driveshaft and retainer from the crankshaft rear bearing cap.

  4. Separate the oil pump (422), driveshaft (420) and retainer (424).
  5. Discard the driveshaft retainer (424).

  7. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector nuts.
  8. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector.
