Engine Flywheel Installation (Manual Transmission)

  1. Install the engine flywheel.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the engine flywheel bolts.

    Tighten the fasteners following a criss-cross pattern.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the engine flywheel bolts a first pass to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
    • Tighten the engine flywheel bolts a second pass to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).
    • Tighten the engine flywheel bolts a final pass to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
