Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil level indicator.

  3. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Exhaust.
  4. Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Electrical.
  5. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt at the fuel injection control module bracket.
  6. Remove the oil level indicator tube and O-ring seals.
  7. Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
