Fuel Injection Control Module Installation

  1. Install the fuel injection control module bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the fuel injection control module bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel injection control module bracket bolts to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the fuel injection control module with mounting insulators.
  6. Install the fuel injection control module bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel injection control module bolts to 20 N.m (14 lb ft).

  8. Install the eye bolts and washers to the cooling hoses.

    Lubricate the washers with diesel fuel before installing.

    Tighten:  Tighten the eye bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

  10. Connect the main electrical connections.
