Fuel Injection Control Module Harness Assembly Removal

  1. Remove the left glow plug harness bracket bolts.

  3. Remove the right glow plug harness bracket bolts.

  5. Disconnect the PCV hose clamp.

  7. Remove the right PCV pipe bolt.

  9. Remove the left PCV pipe bolt.

  11. Remove the PCV pipe.

  13. Disconnect the EGR valve electrical connector.

  15. Remove the two ground bolts.

  17. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.

  19. Remove the tie strap from the electrical harness.

  21. Disconnect the fuel pressure control valve electrical connector.

  23. Disconnect the turbocharger boost sensor electrical connector.

  25. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical harness connector.

  27. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector.

  29. Disconnect the glow plug controller electrical connector.

  31. Disconnect and remove the turbocharger vane position sensor.

    NOTE: Label all the injector electrical connectors before the connectors are removed in order to prevent reconnecting to the wrong injector. Failure to properly connect the injectors in the correct sequence will cause severe engine damage.
  33. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connections.

  35. Disconnect the turbocharger vane control solenoid valve.

  37. Disconnect the fuel rail pressure sensor.

  39. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

  41. Remove the oil level sensor harness bolt.

  43. Remove the glow plug controller bolts.

  46. Remove the glow plug electrical connector nuts.
  47. Remove the left glow plugs.

  49. Remove the right glow plugs.
