Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines)  or Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
  3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley and bolt.
