Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Mark, sort, and organize all the components for assembly.
  1. Remove the rocker arm cover. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Left  or Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Right .
  2. Remove the rocker arms.

  4. Remove the rocker arm supports.

  6. Remove the pushrods.

  8. Clean and inspect the rocker arms and/or pushrods, if necessary. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rods Cleaning and Inspection .
