Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump.

  5. Inspect the oil pump locator pins for damage, and replace if required.

  7. Clean and inspect the oil pump, if necessary. Refer to Oil Pump Cleaning and Inspection .
