Removal Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Engine Mounting Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. From under the hood, remove the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts. (right side shown, left side similar).

  3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Remove the oil pan skid plate bolts and plate.

  6. Using an adjustable jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block, raise the engine.

  8. Remove the engine mount bolts. (right side shown, left side similar).

  10. Remove the engine mount.
  11. If equipped and necessary, remove the engine mount side bracket bolts and bracket. (right side shown, left side similar).

  13. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts.
  14. Remove the engine mount bracket.
