Installation Procedure

  1. Install the belt tensioner. Position the locating pin (1) on the tensioner into the hole in the generator bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Fig 1: Drive Belt Tensioner Locating Pin

  3. Install the belt tensioner bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
