Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2004 GMC Sierra, 2004 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, 2004 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado, and 2003 GMC Sierra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L).

  3. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.3L).

  5. Install the manifold sight shield (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). Refer toIntake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.
  6. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the hose.
  7. Install the vacuum brake booster hose clamp to the check valve.
  8. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the vacuum brake booster.
