Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L).

  2. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine (4.3L).

  3. Install the manifold sight shield (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L). Refer toIntake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.
  4. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the hose.
  5. Install the vacuum brake booster hose clamp to the check valve.
  6. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the vacuum brake booster.
