Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement - Front Drive Axle (8.25 S4WD and 9.25 Axles)  or Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement - Front Drive Axle (8.25 F4WD Axle) .
  2. Remove the clutch fork assembly (2) from the inner axle shaft housing (1).

  4. Remove the clutch fork inner spring from the differential carrier case assembly, if necessary.
