Removal Procedure

Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
Remove the 4 bolts and the reinforcement panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.

Remove the 2 bolts from the wiper transmission assembly.
Remove the wiper transmission assembly from the vehicle.

Remove the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm with the J 39232 . See Special Tools .

Remove the 2 bolts retaining the wiper motor.
Remove the wiper motor from the wiper transmission assembly.
