Installation Procedure

  1. Install the washer solvent container into the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the lower bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the upper bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
  5. Connect the electrical connector to the washer solvent level sensor.
  6. Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
  7. Install the inner wheel housing. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Install the battery and battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement in Engine Electrical.
