Installation Procedure

  1. Install the defroster door (1).

  2. Install the defroster door lever (2).
  3. Install the mode actuator cam assembly (4).
  4. Install the mode actuator (3).
  5. Install the mode actuator screws.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the mode actuator screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  8. Install the heater/vent module halves.
  9. Install the screws to the heater/vent module.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  10. Install the heater/vent module. Refer toHeater/Vent Module Replacement .
