Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil level indicator.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the fill tube bracket nut.

  4. Place a drain pan under the transmission.

  6. Remove the fill tube.
  7. Remove the transmission fill tube seal.
