Removal Procedure

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Remove the park brake pedal. Refer toPark Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement .
  3. Roll the carpet back to access cable grommet.

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  6. Disengage the grommet and the cable from the floor pan.
  7. Disconnect the front cable from the intermediate cable.

  9. Remove the cable from the body mount by depressing the retaining tabs.
  10. Remove the cable.
