Removal Procedure

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. For the 15 series vehicles, remove the nut from the threaded end of the intermediate cable.

  5. Disconnect the equalizer from the rear park brake cables.
  6. For 25/35 series vehicles, disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Disabling the Park Brake Cable Automatic Adjuster .

  8. For 25/35 series vehicles, disconnect the cable at the equalizer.
