Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (with HP2) .
Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at the following locations:
- Throttle body
- Mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor

Remove the radiator inlet hose clip from the outlet duct.
Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
Reposition the outlet hose clamp from the water pump.
Remove the outlet hose from the water pump.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the bolts from the engine shield.
Remove the engine shield from the vehicle.

Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) from the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
Remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).

Reposition the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Remove the outlet hose from the radiator.
