Installation Procedure

- Install the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) to the vehicle.
- Install the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) to the starter/generator stator (5).
- Install the bolt (4) to the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Close the clip (2) at the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
- Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
- Position the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) to the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
- Install the engine shield to the vehicle.
- Install the bolts to the engine shield.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (with HP2) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (without HP2) .

NOTE:
The procedure below must be followed. Improper coolant level could result in a low or high coolant level condition, causing starter/generator control module damage.
