Removal Procedure

CAUTION: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
  1. Raise and support the hood.
  2. Remove the hinge to the hood bolts.
    3. Fig 1: Hood Hinge & Bolts

  3. Remove the hinge from the hood.
