Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator.

  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp fro the radiator.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
  5. Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
  6. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
  7. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
  8. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator, if equipped. Refer to OIL COOLER LINES .

  9. Remove the radiator by lifting the radiator up and out of the vehicle.
  10. Inspect all sealing surfaces for deterioration or signs of leakage.
