Diagnostic Aids
- The DIC displays SC when there is a shorted condition within the system.
- For intermittent diagnosis, refer to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT & POOR CONNECTIONS in WIRING SYSTEMS article.
- Refer to AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS in order to verify the correct ambient temperature sensor readings.
