Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
  2. Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to Handle Bezel Replacement - Inside .
  3. Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Regulator Handle Replacement - Door .
  4. Remove the power window switch, if equipped. Refer to Power Window Switch Replacement .
  5. Remove the trim panel screws from the armrest. Carefully pry off the cover using a flat-bladed tool.
  6. Use the J 38778  in order to release the door trim panel retainers.
  7. Remove the door trim panel from the door.
