Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (PICKUP) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (UTILITY) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the straps that retain the wiring harness.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  4. Remove the screws that retain the sunroof motor (1) to the sunroof assembly.
    IMPORTANT: Do not move the sunroof mechanism while the motor is not in place.
  5. Remove the sunroof motor from the vehicle.
