Installation Procedure

  1. Position the seat on the 3 seat mounting studs on the floor of the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the seat mounting bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft). Install the seat mounting nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (POWER)  or SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (MANUAL) .
