Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BENCH .
  2. Remove the seat back release lever, if equipped. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  3. Remove the seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - FRONT (BENCH SEAT)  or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - FRONT (BUCKET SEAT) 
  4. Separate the J-strips from the seat bottom frame.

  5. Remove the manual lumbar knob lever, if equipped. Refer to LUMBAR SUPPORT KNOB REPLACEMENT .
  6. Remove the seat bottom cover.
  7. Remove the seat bottom pad.
