Installation Procedure

  1. Install the recliner assembly to the seat.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the recliner assembly to the seat frame bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the recliner assembly to the seat frame bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the inertia latch.
  4. Install the recliner trim cover to the seat.
  5. Install the recliner handle.
