Removal Procedure

  1. Adjust the seat to the full upward front and rear position.
  2. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET .
  3. Remove the lumbar switch from the seat. Refer to LUMBAR SWITCH REPLACEMENT .
  4. Remove the power seat switch from the seat. Refer to SEAT SWITCH REPLACEMENT - POWER .
  5. Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat.

  6. Separate the J-strips from the seat bottom frame.

  7. Pull the seat cover and pad up to expose the seat bottom frame.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors as necessary.
  9. Remove the bolts securing the seat back assembly to the seat adjuster assembly.
  10. Remove the seat back assembly.
  11. Remove the 4 nuts securing the seat bottom frame to the seat adjuster assembly.

  12. Remove the seat adjuster assembly.
