Installation Procedure

  1. Install the adjuster to the seat.
  2. Install the lock wire to the adjuster.
  3. Install the trim cover and/or shim.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  4. Install the adjuster to the seat bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the adjuster to the seat bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the adjuster return spring to the seat frame.

  6. Install the seat belt buckle to the seat.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat belt buckle bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET  or SEAT REPLACEMENT - BENCH .
