Installation Procedure

  1. Install the trim panel to the liftgate.

  2. Install the pullstrap. Refer to PULLSTRAP REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  3. Install the screw retaining the liftgate trim panel to the liftgate window latch support.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
