Installation Procedure

  1. Close the liftgate.
  2. Slide the flange of the applique over the mating flange of the endgate.
  3. Open the liftgate.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  4. Install the screw that retains the liftgate quarter upper applique to the liftgate.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 5 N.m (44 lb ft).
