Installation Procedure

  1. Align the marks made during disassembly in order to install the endgate window latch support.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the bolts that retain the endgate window latch support to the liftgate.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors as needed.
  4. Install the endgate window latch. Refer to LATCH REPLACEMENT - END GATE WINDOW .
