Removal Procedure

  1. Open the endgate or the liftgate.
  2. Remove the rubber bumper.

  3. Turn the cargo net button counterclockwise in order to remove the cargo net button.
  4. Rotate the bumper clockwise or counterclockwise in order to adjust the bumper.
  5. Reinstall the bumper before checking the adjustment. The endgate or the liftgate should seal completely with a minimum of closing effort.
  6. Apply a drop of liquid thread adhesive GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or the equivalent to the bumper threads.
