Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  2. Release the handle and the latch rods from the bellcrank.
  3. Remove the bolts that retain the bellcrank to the liftgate.
  4. Remove the bellcrank from the liftgate.
