Installation Procedure

  1. With an assistant, install the hood to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the hood hinge attaching bolts and the nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the hood hinge attaching bolts and the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the windshield washer nozzles. Refer to WASHER NOZZLE REPLACEMENT in WIPER/WASHER SYSTEMS article.
  4. Install the wire to the under hood lamp, if equipped.
  5. Install the right and the left air inlet grille panels. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  6. Close the hood.
