Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) in EXTERIOR TRIM article.
  2. Remove the outside air temperature sensor. Refer to AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE GAGE SENSOR REPLACEMENT in INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES & CONSOLE article.
  3. Remove the radiator air intake baffle retainers.
  4. Remove the radiator air intake baffle.
