Installation Procedure

  1. Install the license plate lamp to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the bulb to the socket.
  4. Rotate the bulb and socket 1/4 turn clockwise in order to install the bulb and socket to the license plate lamp.
  5. Install the license plate lamp to the licence plate bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  6. Install the screws that retain the license plate lamp to the license plate bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
