Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the body wiring harness connector. Push the connector through the hole in the roof in order to install the electrical connector.
  2. Install the high mount stop lamp to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  3. Install the screws that retain the high mount stop lamp to the roof.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the high mount stop lamp screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
