Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the front foglamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
  3. Remove the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
  4. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) in EXTERIOR TRIM article.
    IMPORTANT: Squeeze together the retainer at the back of the turn signal lamp assembly in order to release the assembly from the grille.
  5. Remove the turn signal lamp assembly with the front foglamp from the grille.

  6. Remove the front foglamp adjustment screw.
  7. Remove the front foglamp from the turn signal lamp assembly.
  8. Remove the bulb from the front foglamp base.
